  • Walk a few feet down the sunny side of the block, and greet the next person you see. What did this interaction bring up for you: Were you nervous? Were you excited? Did it bring up a memory?

  • Walk to a place that calms you and be still. Identify 3 distinct sounds. Why did you choose these sounds? What did you feel as you listened?

  • Visit a place or person or tree or business that makes you feel at home in the neighborhood. Think about what it is about this place or being that gives you a sense of belonging. 

  • Throughout the neighborhood there are seeds that are growing. From the acorn to community groups, there are signs of strength and change all around. What around you most gives you hope for growth?
